CCLP1 (B) Core LPG safety for boats, yachts and other vessels

Please note: we cannot offer CCLP B for initial candidates (new entrants to the gas industry). 

CCLP1 (EP) Core LPG safety for external pipework

All aspects relating to core domestic LPG gas safety. The initial knowledge area for this course is related to permanent dwellings (house, flats etc), but additional areas such as leisure accommodation vehicles (caravans), residential park homes and boats can also be undertaken.

VESLP1 Gas storage vessels and controls (Single LPG supply)

This is assessment only and covers the installation and commissioning of LPG gas storage vessels and controls (Single LPG Supply) with up to 32mm Pipework.

VESLP2 Gas storage vessels and controls (Multiple LPG supply)

This is an assessment only which covers the installation and commissioning of LPG gas storage vessels and controls (Single LPG Supply) with up to 63mm Pipework.

HTRLP2 Closed flue gas fires

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commission of closed flued liquefied petroleum gas fires by practical, knowledge and understanding assessment.

HTRLP3 Caravan space heaters

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commissioning of liquefied petroleum gas caravan space heaters by practical, knowledge and understanding assessment.

REFLP2 Caravan / boat gas refrigerators

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commissioning of liquefied petroleum gas space refrigerators in motorised and touring caravans and/or boats by practical and knowledge & understanding assessment.

WATLP2 Caravan gas water heaters

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commission of liquefied petroleum gas water heating appliances in motorised and touring caravans by practical and knowledge & understanding assessment.

CESP1 Core emergency service provider

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in core domestic and commercial emergency service gas work by practical and knowledge & understanding assessment:

CoDNESP1 core changeover (CCN1 - CESP1)

This Changeover Assessment is designed to assess the gas safety competence of an operative holding Core Domestic ACS certificate CCN1 who intends to carry out work for an emergency service provider, dealing with gas emergencies downstream of the emergency/meter control by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

CMDDA1 Carbon Monoxide Testing

Training and assessment to assess competence of gas engineers to carry out CO/CO2 and combustion performance testing using electronic portable gas analysers on domestic gas appliances, following indications of fumes, smells, spillage or leakage of combustion products, CO detector activation etc. The range of the assessment covers the use of the analysers to determine ambient levels of CO and presence of CO2 in dwellings, CO and CO2 in combustion products from flueless appliances (Type A), open flued appliances (Type B), and room sealed appliances (Type C).

HWB1 Gas fired hot water boiler appliances with atmospheric burners (15 - 140kw)

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commissioning of swimming pool boilers by practical and knowledge & understanding assessment.

DFDA1 Appl. fitted or to be fitted with forced draught burners up to 70kw in domestic dwellings

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commissioning of a forced draught gas burner used to replace a oil fired pressure jet by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

CoLPNG1 Core changeover (CCLP1 to CCN1)

An assessment of the individual’s competence in gas safety related areas, specifically installation, exchange, disconnection, service, repair and commission of domestic natural gas appliances and equipment.

CoCDN1 Core Changeover (COCN1 to CCN1)

A course and following assessment to enable those who currently perform commercial natural gas work, to expand their range of work into the domestic field. Having obtained this qualification, you will then be able to apply for the domestic appliance assessments that relate to your work, to enable you to work unsupervised in domestic property.

CCLNG1 Core Commercial Laundry Gas Safety

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in core commercial laundry gas work by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment (includes CLE1). Candidates must have achieved completion of a full Managed Learning Programme before attendance.

This assessment or a changeover assessment must be completed by the operative prior to taking any other commercial assessment.

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in core commercial catering gas work by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment. Candidates must have achieved completion of a full Managed Learning Programme before attendance.

CONGLP1

This is the assessment for converting natural gas qualifications to LPG and is a pre-requisite assessment for all other LPG appliance assessments, without holding an existing LPG core qualification.

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative intending to extend the work range from natural gas to liquefied petroleum gas in both domestic and commercial permanent dwellings by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

This Core Gas Safety Assessment covers the competencies required to cover Liquid Petroleum Gas in Residential Park Homes.

CONGLP1 (LAV) core changeover (NG to LPG) for leisure accommodation vehicles

This Core Gas Safety Assessment covers the competencies required to cover Liquid Petroleum Gas in Leisure Accommodation Vehicles.
