CoLPNG1 Core Changeover (CCLP1 to CCN1)

An assessment of the individual’s competence in gas safety related areas, specifically installation, exchange, disconnection, service, repair and commission of domestic natural gas appliances and equipment.

This assessment is to test the knowledge and skills of gas operatives in accordance with the health and safety legislation and conformity with the European Standard EN45013.

Details:

At assessment the candidate must demonstrate knowledge of:

• Flueing
• Combustion
• Ventilation
• Pipework
• Gas safety regulations
• Unsafe situations procedures

Entry Requirements:

To apply for this assessment you must hold a current CCLP1.

Progression:

On completion of this assessment you will be able to apply to Gas Safe for registration subject to your current certification.

In addition you may wish to consider assessment and training where appropriate in:

• CENWAT (Boilers/water heaters)
• HTR1 (Fires and wall heaters)
• MET1 (Meters)
