MET1 Domestic Gas Meters

This Gas Safety Assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of installation, exchange, disconnection, servicing, repair, breakdown and commissioning of domestic gas meters by practical and knowledge and understanding assessment.

Range of meters covered - Primary and secondary meters up to 6 cubic metres per hour capacity. Non Domestic engineers can undertake Domestic MET1, without the need to undertake CCN1, only if they encounter domestic sized appliances within non domestic premises.

This qualification will be certified and entered onto the Gas Safe Register, however, it will not show on your operatives Gas Safe Card.
