This is a practical course designed for experienced operatives.

This course is designed to provide operatives with an up-to-date refreshment of regulations and the health and safety aspects of installing and carrying out visual inspection of oil tanks.

Anyone new to the oil industry should consider attending our OFT50 course for new entrants.

To provide candidates with the knowledge, understanding and skills to undertake work involving domestic oil tank installations.

Who is the course aimed at?

Any experienced oil operatives, or GAS SAFE registered heating system operatives wishing to undertake work involving oil tanks (PLEASE NOTE: Proof of previous qualifications will be required prior to the start of the course)

Course outcome/qualification

Candidates who successfully complete the assessment will be eligible to join the OFTEC competent persons scheme.
